The ladder with its rescue arches is a multi-tool for water rescue, during summer as winter. The foam-filled ladder provides good buoyancy and increased life span in tough outdoor environments. The ladder has been tested and approved in accordance with the Swedish Work Environment Authority's requirements for ladders, this for safe use when lifesaving in all environments. Distinct marking with reflex and text makes the ladder easy to detect in an emergency. The rescue ladder is available in lengths of 3.5m or 4.5m. The length should be determined by the height of the dock. At heights above 1.8m to the waterline, the 4.5m ladder is required.
Feature
Our rescue ladder with its rescue arches is an important part of the lifesaving assortment, with its many functions to save lives. This easy-to-use ladder with arches is used to get down to or up from water at a dock or similar. It can also be used as an aid to lift a distressed person from the water, or as a stretcher. Its non-slip steps make the ladder very safe to climb on. The basic design is of course a type controlled SPCR064 aluminum ladder from Wibe that also meets the Swedish Work Environment Authority's requirements regarding AFS 2004: 3 for Sweden. The accompanying rescue arches are mounted on the ladder to be able to use it as a temporary dock ladder, when it is hooked on, for example, edge of a dock or in a railing. Remember that the ladder should always reach one meter below the surface of the water. The arches can also be used to lift unconscious / powerless people out of the water. The rescue ladder can be supplemented with spacers that can be easily mounted to an appropriate height. These keep the steps away from the dock when used as a temporary dock ladder, but can also be used as a "pull handle" when the ladder is used to lift a distressed person out of the water. The weight is adapted so that everyone can use it with ease and the foam filling gives the rescue ladder good buoyant. In ice, the rescue ladder can be used both to reach the distressed person and as a sled to distribute the weight over the ice. The rescue ladder is easy to install and maintenance-free. Reflex, side decals and deviant yellow and red color make the rescue ladder visible and user-friendly in an emergency.
