Inspiration
The ladder with its rescue arcs is a multi-tool for water rescue. The ladder is filled with PUR foam, this to ensure long durability and that it always flouts. The ladders have been tested and approved by the Swedish Work Environment Authority's. Visible markings with reflexes and text makes the steps easy to notice even in an emergency. The rescue ladder is available in lengths of 3.5m or 4.5m. The length is determined by the height of the dock. If its more than 1.8m to the waterline, the 4.5m steps are required.
Function
Our rescue ladder with its arcs is an important part of the rescue equipment, with its many functions to save lives. This easy-to-use ladder is used to get in to or out of the water. It can also be used as an aid to lift a distressed person from the water, or as a stretcher. The ladders non-slip steps make it safe to climb. The basic design is of course a type controlled SPCR064 aluminum ladder from Wibe that also meets the Swedish Work Environment Authority's requirements regarding AFS 2004: 3 for Sweden. The accompanying arcs make it possible to use it as a temporary dock ladder, when it is hooked on, for example, the edge of a dock or on a railing. Remember that the ladder should always reach one meter below the surface of the water. The rescue arcs can also be used to lift unconscious / exhausted people out of the water. The rescue ladder can be supplemented with distances that is easy to install at an appropriate height. These make sure that it’s a gap between the ladder and the dock and provide support, they can also be used as a "handle" when the ladder is used to lift a person in distress out of the water. Its lightweight so that everyone can use it with ease. The rescue ladder is foam-filled, this make it flout. On ice, the ladder steps can be used both to reach the person in distress and as a sledge to distribute the weight over a bigger area. The rescue ladder is easy to install and maintenance-free. Reflexes, side decals and strong yellow and red colors make the rescue ladder easy to notice.
